I still can’t believe its July, to be honest I don’t even remember June. This is a little try on haul I did with American Eagle this past week and I will be sharing this on Instagram shortly.. now that instagram is back up and running.
I have lost a little weight since last summer (I plan on catching you up on a blog post this week), so I didn’t really have a lot of clothes for myself this year. Now that I am 16 months postpartum I am just starting to feel like myself again, and I wanted to get a few summer pieces that would at least last me a few years and look expensive without spending too much money.
Lets start with these adorable jeans! They are soo cute and hits perfectly above my ankle. I am wearing a size 10 in these and felt like I could even get away with an 8.
White shorts! They are everywhere and such a classic. I can just see this outfit with a stripped sweater, sipping some wine out on the boat… or maybe even just out on the boat lol. This knitted top (ON SALE for $19.95!) is in a medium and super cute even though it’s a heavier material. I still really liked it, and thought I could pair this shirt with the jean pants above, the white shorts or even to go over a swimsuit.
These Shorts are insanely soft, stretchy and so comfy. I would recommend these to ANYONE, especially if your curvy and feel better in high waisted bottoms like I do. As for this cute mustard yellow top, I love it but of course the moment I decide to post this it sells out. But there is this similar one thats just as cute if not cuter for the summer because it’s just a cute tank.
Same top, just darker denim shorts! I cant say enough about these shorts, they are exactly what I would expect from American Eagle and the reason why I keep coming back for their clothes.
Now time for my least favourite outfit of the whole haul (but this top is cute and its on SALE for $19.95), and thankfully the two pieces I just returned. I just can’t get on the bike shorts trend, and Im not sure if it was just because I am not at my goal weight yet and felt really frumpy or what. I also had originally picked out a cute strapless shirt and just did not like how it looked on me either. But I WOULD love to know if you like this style? and maybe send some pictures on how your styling the biker shorts.
